About – Round Pens

The Round Pen company is based in Shropshire UK providing a range of round pens, to suit all requirements.

The round pen has historic roots dating back to the tradition of Spanish horsemanship and possibly even earlier. In North America it was used for horse backing as well as in Mexico, and came north with the vaqueros to be adopted by cowboys in the Western United States.

Today the Round Pen is used in Europe for some forms of classical dressage training and is as a common tool for western riding training and is particularly popular with the natural horsemanship movement.
